APPLICATION
TITUS liquid agent is designed to be used exclusively with TITUS kitchen hood fire suppression systems and K-Class fire extinguishers. This liquid agent is effective against grease-related fires in kitchen systems and ventilation equipment. It should not be used for electrical fires.
DEFINITION
TITUS is a specially formulated aqueous inorganic salt solution. This agent is pre-mixed, eliminating the need for distillation prior to system filling. When used for suppression, it will not produce any toxic by-products.

PERFORMANCE
When used with TITUS kitchen hood fire suppression systems or TITUS fire extinguishers, TITUS liquid agent is highly effective against fires in ventilation equipment (such as hoods, chimneys, etc.) and kitchen cooking systems (such as fryers, stoves, woks, grills, etc.). The suitable ambient temperature range is 0°C to 49°C.
The agent is sprayed as small (atomized) particles onto the oil-based fire in the system, allowing it to rapidly control the flames, cool the surface, and extinguish the fire. When the agent reacts with hot oil, it forms a foam layer on the oil surface. This soapy foam acts as an insulator between the hot oil and the atmosphere, preventing flammable vapors from escaping and reducing the risk of re-ignition. Post-fire cleaning can be easily performed by applying water or steam.
